AFI proudly announces the signing of strategic partner Agreement with Parker. Chairman Mr. Ibrahim Ali Al-Rashoodi along with the Executive Director Mr. Erick Van der Ende represented AFI and Mr. Charlie – President Europe and Middle East. Mr. Mufid Amin GM – Middle East and number of Vice Presidents represented Parker. This became a reality in a grand ceremony at the Parker Hannifin Headoffice in Itoy, Geneva on June 17, 2011.
Parker Hannifin a global Fortune 300 company with customers in 46 countries is the Leading supplier specialized in Hydraulics, Pneumatics and instrumentation. It is a manufacturer and designer of technologically advanced products and systems, while AFI is the number one distributor and suppliers for Hydraulic Products with high profiled engineers and 17 retail outlets in the GCC. The partnership between the two organizations will provide advancement in the products and services that will result in better customer satisfaction and in turn the increase of revenue for both the parties. This agreement authorizes AFI to distribute Parker Products in 4 countries in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait. AFI hopes that this partnership will give more business to the company by acquiring orders for Parker products from our top customers especially in the Oil & Gas Industry, and Offshore.
According to Mr. Ziad Khader- GM marketing and branch operations, “We are already in the process of making Parker business itself as a vertical , allocating responsible engineers all over the group and push more Parker product range top the market . Maintaining sufficient stock and improving the service activities will definitely boost the business . In this process we are upgrading our testing facilities at Headoffice Factory and install new test benches in all our new major facilities “. In addition to the parts sales we are now concentrating more on major projects where AFI can excel along with Parker . When it comes to Hydraulics , Parkers worldwide network of sales engineers walk the walk and talk the talk . AFI is in the process of preparing same quality sales engineers for the market who can be a single point contact for any hydraulic requirements including rapid problem solving – he attests.
