Saudi Transtec 2011 – 25% increase of visitors

SAUDI TRANSTEC is the only Saudi Arabian Transport and Logistics Exhibition & Conference held in the Eastern Province. The event was arranged to developed and provide the Transport, Logistics, Materials Handling and Warehousing sectors in Saudi Arabia.

On October 17-19, 2011, AFI has again take part on this event, which held at Dharan International Exhibition Center. It is AFI’s second time participation in this exhibition to showcase our Transportation and Cargo Handling Solutions. As per the record made by the organizers, there was a 25% increase of the visitors comparing to last year. It’s an indication that the show was attracting keen interest to those who are involved in transportation and logistics business.

Big companies like, DHL, FedEx, TNT and Aramex have their big stands in prime locations.  And of course AFI will be behind them, in this exhibition we have displayed our Side Curtains, Tail Gates, and Truck mounted Cranes, and other related products which typically used in logistics companies. Most of these products are being installed and fabricated in our factory. 

Mr. Vijay Chandra Kumar – BDM - Factory were present on the first day of the event. He had attended visitor’s queries along with Mr. Vincent Sonsona who is promoting the lubrication truck as part of his Lincoln business.

Mr. Saleh Al Ramami and Mr. Virgilio ‘Mixi’ Bagoisan of Sales Department Dammam, were also keen to attend the visitor’s queries along with Mr. Matio P. Morales of Marketing Department. On the last day of the exhibition, Mr. Ravisankar Kesavan and Mr. Imad Haidar visited the exhibition and attended some visitors’ queries.

In conclusion, the show was successful and we got some new leads in which the marketing department is following-up by sending e-fliers and communicating them through emails.
Of course, this will never be achieved without the support from our management.
